Our Center offers many learning and skill development workshops in numerous delivery methods to suit any individual's needs.  We take two primary approaches to our delivery of skill development workshops with our participants: group learning and one-on-one learning.  All of our workshops are hosted within our fully accessible Skills Labs, inclusive of  both a full Teaching Kitchen Facility and Computer Access Room.  Every workshop is accompanied by a professional information package for each participant to take home: packed full of useful and modern information! Many workshops will have you leaving with tasty treats, ready to give complete gifts or decorations for your home!  

Life Skill Development Workshops:
We deliver a wide variety of general Life Skill Development Workshops which are typically delivered in a group setting.  These comfortable and casual workshops deal with everyday topics from "Using Public Transportation in Thunder Bay" to "Turning Your Hobby Into A Business".  You do not need to qualify for the CEO Program to take part in these Life Skill Workshops. 

Pre Employment Skill Development Workshops:
We deliver professionally developed pre-employment workshops, which are held one day per week for 4 weeks.  These workshops prepare participants for a first-time entry or re-entry into an employment or volunteer opportunity.  These workshops are also a great refresher for persons looking to augment their skill set as well.  These workshops are mandatory for all new CEO Program Participants.

One-on-One Basic Computer Use Training:
We deliver individualized and specific training, in a one-on-one setting, for persons wishing to learn or enhance their computer use skills.  Basic computer operation, Internet use, E-mail use and basic software skills using the most popular software of today, are all included in this training that is tailored to suit your needs specifically. 

One-on-One Special Skill Development Training:
We deliver individualized and specific training, in a one-on-one setting, for persons wishing to learn or enhance virtually any job-specific skill.  Counting money and making change, shelf facing techniques, cleaning fundamentals and more are all included in this training that is tailored to suit your needs specifically.
