ILRC has many fun and exciting things happening every month.  Our Peer Group is peer driven.  This means that ILRC staff facilitate activities or outings that interest you!  If you have a safe, fun and creative idea, please feel free to tell staff.

Each month, we host workshops, activities or outings in areas of:

  • arts or crafts
  • promoting a healthy lifestyle
  • sports
  • movies
  • clubs
Internet Cafe:

Join us every Monday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm for our Internet Cafe.  ILRC has several computers for you to use to check your email, surf the net or do some social networking.  Staff is available to lend a hand if needed.

Computers 101 - The Basics:

If you have limited or no computer experience then Computers 101 is for you!  You will be guided, step-by-step, through computer basics such as computer terminology, operating a computer, using the Internet, opening and creating documents, and more!  If you have specific computer questions they can also be addressed.

 IL Artists Club:

If you're an artist waiting to come out of your shell then this club is for you!  We supply the materials and you supply the ideas and inspiration.  This is an independent club and participants may use this time to work on ongoing creative projects.  Occasionally, we may plan group activities or projects for consumers to take part in.
